We have created eight Horse Coat colors using core for easy felting, merino for smoothness and color, and a tad of silk for shine. The formula is perfect for direct felting the smooth coat of horses. The colors can be further blended for more variations, or layered for dappling and reverse needle techniques.
Chestnut is a red brown with golds, reds, and rust. Liver chestnut or Bay would work for dappling.
