We are excited to bring the Raven to you with a free YouTube tutorial! We have assembled a Raven Supply Pack with all the materials you need to make one Raven or Crow. (The measurements for this project are between the two in size. Approximately 14" x 14")
Level 3 - 4: This intermediate project is not for beginners. Please refer to the level chart in the images to assess your skill sets.
Note: Please see our Needles and Tools Section. Sara also uses a Face Ace, Zullitool and the punch tool throughout this project. We advise watching the tutorial or at least glance through it before beginning to understand what tools are needed as well as the process. If you do not have those tools you might want to consider it!

This scale will help you determine if a project is within your range, assuming you have not felted before or have worked with mainly Sarafina® tutorials and methods. Yes and yes and yes and a great big Wooooo-hooooo! I purchased the supply pack, watched the video (more than once) and made two of these fine rascals. I see more in my future as Oktober and the Boo Season approaches! Oh my, who knew such fine fellows could be had for just the felting!
Many thanks to Sara and her hands on, careful explanation of how to do things. I am a visual learner and her tutorials are just the best! And I know these have a skill level rating, but I have found if I just pay attention, I can and have done this.
My first project was the lion. He turned out just fine.

I did not buy this kit but was part of the Fiber Fairy Friday give away. If you want an awesome project you should buy this kit. The tutorial is amazing. Not only expert teaching, but some pretty cool facts about ravens and corvids. Mine turned out so well that my Aunt, that is afraid of birds, couldn't even hold it. I want to try another one using the plumage method for feathers.
