Your Saree Silk Bindle is ready to go where ever you do. Over 4 ounces of various sizes, textures, and colors of saree scraps are tied up for you to use in your wet felting, to sew tiny clothes, or embelish your sculptures. 4 ounces is about 1/2 a saree!
The scraps are created during Sara's blanket making process. We want to waste as little as possible of all of the beautiful silk made by silkworms, then cultivated, woven, and dyed or printed. Every piece is a treasure.
I haven’t used yet but I am marveling at the generous pieces for the price. I thought I would use them for nuno felt, but I hate to cut them up!
I wasn't really sure what I thought I was going to receive when I ordered these Saree scraps! I was thinking maybe strips of silk, an inch or so wide....I got those and so much more!!! 16 beautiful, good sized pieces of so many different color palettes and designs!
