Longwood Community Christmas Tree 2026
* Sara's vision for the 2026 Sarafina Community Tree
The Sarafina Fiber Art Community has been invited back to adorn a tree at Longwood Gardens for the 2026 Longwood Christmas season. It is truly an honor to be asked to create another community tree!
Our felting community is asked to provide 350+ ornaments. The Longwood Christmas theme for this year is "Celestial" and Sara has a vision for our community tree. In an effort to unify the tree, all of the flora and fauna items on the list should be life-sized. We have no doubt that the Sarafina Community will blow us away with your submissions! Each ornament should have an anchor point for wiring and hanging or perching on a branch. You can decide where to place the anchor. This can be a wire or firm fishing line.

The impact of your ornament contribution will be twofold. After they are a part of the Longwood Gardens Christmas display, they will be donated to local charities during the 2027 holiday season; we have several ideas for ways to bless and inspire others with your work! We also welcome your suggestions!
