Sarafina Blanket: Blackberry

Sara's blankets have been evolving here behind the scenes for almost 2 years.  I will be offering a handful of prototypes on this site before they are launched on their own special website.  Each blanket is handmade and no two are alike.  They are perfectly imperfect and made to highlight the beautiful sari designs and luxurious silk and nature of natural fibers.  

Blackberry is a 76"x44" throw made with repurposed sari silk, Extrafine Merino from Italy, and hand stitched silk and wool edges.    Super soft knit merino and alpaca yarn  outline pink, purple, and plum geometeric patterns with a smoky purple backing.
