William Renzulli began painting the shops and markets of Wilmington in the late 1970s. In 1981 he left his private medical practice for part time emergency room work so he could devote more time to his art. Renzulli’s early works were rendered in pen and ink and colored markers, which were soon replaced by watercolor. Even after moving to nearby Cecil Co. Maryland he continued to paint the “Wilmington scene." In 2002 the Renzullis moved to become part of a growing artist community in Paducah Kentucky. With a studio and gallery attached to his home, he has continued to create his art. Renzulli now works with a variety of mediums that include watercolor, pastels, acrylics, and even pen and ink and markers.
