Please see the workshop rating scale below to determine your level when considering a needle felting workshop.  Our needle felting workshops are for ages 14 and up unless otherwise noted.

2 Day Hares:  Snow Hare and Brown  Friday, January 24th and Saturday, January 25th 10:30 - 4:30 

This is a level 3 workshop to create 2 hares, the Snowshoe and the European brown.  They have slightly different proportions in addition the the obvious pelt differences.  It’s a great study in subtle differences and anatomy.  We will make 2 8-9” long sculptures.  Level 3  All supplies and lunch included.  Limit 8 participants.  $245

Needle Felted Spring Chick:  Saturday, February 1st 12:00 - 4:30 

Marsha will teach how to create a bird armature, wrap toes, sculpt a variety of useful shapes, and apply "fluff" using a long fiber application in this fun chick workshop.  If you are a beginner or near-beginner this is a great workshop!  The techniques can be used for any bird that you would like hatch.  Level 1/2  All supplies included.  Limit 8 participants. $65

Acing Faces: Needle Felted Face  Saturday, February 8th 12:30 - 4:30 

Using the new Face Ace tool, sketching, and proportion studies, we will go in depth into faces proportions and face needle felting techniques.  We want you to have good familiarity with Sarafina techniques for class as we will be working on finesse and details.  You will leave with a 12-14" figure armature that has a completed face.  Level 3.  All supplies included.  Limit 8 participants.  $65  *Currently full, call to be placed on waiting list.

2 Day Moose:  Friday, February 21st and Saturday February 22nd  10:30 - 4:30

The Moose has a unique stature, scooped antlers, and a great face.  We will learn cloven hooves, shingling, antlers, and all of the other characteristics and techniques unique to the majestic animal and project.  MUST BE a Level 4.  All supplies and lunch included.  Limit 8 participants. $245

Eco Printed Scarf:  Saturday, February 29 10:30 - 4:30

Irene Stoss will be joining us to offer an introduction to Eco Printing and Natural Dyes. We will use the power of plants to print on a small scarf. This will include laying out the plant material on the scarf and rolling into a bundle to be cooked for a few hours. While the bundles are processing (cooking), we will explore using natural dyes/printing with plants on paper and learning how to make string from small fabric pieces. Some standing will be involved.  All supplies included.  Please pack a lunch.  $125

2D Needle Felted Rooster: Saturday, March 7th 12:30 - 4:30   

Using needle felting techniques we will “paint” a rooster on a prefelted background approximately 14x11.  Sara will cover composition, color, and contrast, and you will learn a variety of 2D needle felting techniques.  No experience necessary.  Level 1  All supplies included.  Limit 8 participants.  $65

Needle Felted Basket Bunnies:  Saturday, March 14th 12:00 - 4:30 pm

Our own Marsha Minutella will teach how to make a needle felted basket bunny.  Learn how to make the basket bunny armature along with wrapping techniques, sculpting shapes, and coloring tips and tricks.  Level 1/2  All supplies included.  Limit 8 participants.  $65

Nuno Felted Scarves:  Saturday, March 21st 12:30 - 4:30 pm

Sarah Dressler we be joining us to teach exciting workshop!  We will combine fine silk and wispy layers of superfine merino wool, to create a light beautifully textured scarf.  This process is very hands on and is suitable for all skill levels.  All supplies included  Limit 8 participants $85


Needle Felted Sleepy Lamb:  Saturday, March 28th 12:30 - 4:30

Paige Snow will join us to teach this precious project.  Capture the nature of a lamb by studying and creating their creases, folds and texture. By recognizing and making organic shapes we will learn how to sculpt wool into a sleepy little lamb. This workshop is great for those who are already skilled in armatures, wrapping and are interested in exploring further into detail work.   Must be at least a level 3.  All supplies included.  $65
