Big fluffy batting can be wet or needle felted. When you need a ready made flat surface or large sheets, this batting is ready to go and a less expensive alternative to roving. We like to split it in half like a buttermilk biscuit and tun one piece 90 degrees to establish a wet felting surface base.

This brown wool batting is made of Shetland and Targhee.
