Skin tones are tough to come by. When I dye roving for skin tones it is
often too flat, too warm, or too cool. I have found that
by blending these similar tones and values together I get a more
dynamic, alive, and realistic color.
These batts weigh 1 ounce. They are
a blend of sheep breed wools that I know work well for needle felting. Each batt is carded several times to make the colors blend seamlessly.
Please select your color:
Alabaster - our lightest tone is the soft color of a marble statue or Mary from Downton Abbey. Third photo shows it next to white for comparison.
Fair - A light skin tone with a soft balance of pink, peach, and tan. My favorite for Santa and gnomes.
Glow - For when you are looking for a deeper sun-kissed tone.
Olive - A light medium brown like a cafe au' laite.
Bronze - A deep medium brown with a balance of cool and light. (Actual color is a bit darker than the single photo shows. More like group photo.)
Arabica - A deep dark brown with cool tones. (Actual color is a bit darker than the single photo shows. More like group photo.)
